Back by popular demand, Shandra will share some of her favorite tips and tricks on meal planning, and will teach you how to get homemade, healthy meals on the table without a lot of stress...or money. She will be discussing the benefits of family dinner, ways to make mealtime a bonding and enjoyable experience, and learn how to shop and plan your meals on a budget. Come and learn how freezer meals can help you on those busy nights and how having a well-stocked pantry can save you hundreds throughout the year. Mealtime and making dinner doesn't have to feel like a chore, come learn how to make it a special time for you and your family!

Mind Over Money -Taught by Greg Black of TenCap Coaching

Greg will explain some basic investment ideas that all-too-often get glossed over when it comes to planning for the future. You will see why these ideas are so important and can't be ignored! Greg is a financial advisor that makes investing easy to understand, and applicable to the everyday person. This class is for men, by men. This is the "circle of trust" class where anything can (and will) be discussed. Sorry ladies, what happens in Man Camp, stays in Man Camp! Topics discussed will be chosen by the attending men. Topics to choose from include:

Preparedness & Stockpiling 101 -Taught by Shandra Madsen of

Do you feel an urgency to be more prepared, but don't know where to start? Shandra is here to simplify your preparedness goals. With a few tips and simple techniques, she will show you how you can become prepared without a lot of extra effort or money. She will talk about the peace of mind that comes when you are prepared for an economic or natural disaster. self-reliance is a way to bring peace to you and your family. Stockpiling is becoming a fad of late, and Shandra will show you how to have your own grocery store in your home...without clipping coupons! Cut down those last-minute shopping trips to the store and learn to save money on your monthly budget by having a well-stocked pantry. She will also share some favorite emergency preparedness products that will take the headache out of preparing for a disaster.

Debt 101 -Taught by Jordan Page of

It's that 4-letter D-word again...DEBT. Most of us have it. We all hate it. And in today's world, it's virtually impossible to avoid. In this class we will learn the basics about debt - what it is, where it comes from, and when/how to avoid it. We will also discuss what amount of debt is "appropriate" or "normal", whether to pay off debt or build up savings, how to pay off debt even if you live paycheck to paycheck, simple ways to manage and track your debt, all about credit cards, how to increase your credit score, and will even learn about good debt...yes, there is such a thing! And as always, it will be broken down into simple terminology that will make it easier than ever to understand.

How to talk with our spouse about finances...and not kill each other. -Taught by Kirk Voss of Amber Creek Counseling

Let's face it...communication is hard work. Throw family, life, and finances in the mix and it gets even harder! While each couple's financial situation is unique, there are core communication strategies that provide a foundation soft couples trying to tackle any of the big things in life...from budgeting, to handling a crisis, to kids, and in-laws. This class will cover such communication strategies, address common communication pitfalls and how to repair them, and will discuss healthy ways to break past the "log jams" of mutual goal-seting. You and your partner will walk away with hands-on tools for enhanced connection as both a couple, and a financial duo.
