Jordan is founder and creator of funcheaporfree.com, a website dedicated to creating, maintaining, and living a frugal lifestyle. Her "no holds barred" attitude, as well as years of experience in event planning, sales, budgeting and finance, debt consolidation, homeownership, and motherhood (the best teacher of all) have made her a frugality expert. Thus, over the years she has been dubbed the "Fun Cheap or Free Queen".
Her humorous writing style and easy-to-implement philosophies have helped her reshape thousands of family spending habits; helping her followers get out of debt, spend more wisely, and live more richly than they ever thought possible.
Jordan grew up in a small orchard town in Oregon, called The Dalles. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT in Recreation Management, with a Therapeutic Recreation emphasis. She worked in sales and with at-risk teens before having kids and becoming a stay-at-home mom.
She is the mother of two children who are 18 months apart (a 2 year old boy and a baby girl), with baby #3 on the way in Feb 2013. She and her husband, Brandt "Bubba" Page (Founder and CEO of Launch Leads) live in Draper, Utah with their 100lb yellow lab, Ollie. Jordan is "social to a fault" and will drop anything to participate in a social event. She loves to entertain, dance, sing, hike with her dog, eat out, throw parties, go on vacation, surround herself with good friends, shop, "and any other possible girly thing out there". And yes, she's learned to do it all on a dime!
