Sydney Cline: Caterer, Food expert, and Author of, "Feeding The Masses"

Sydney Lee Shardlow Cline grew up in Southern California. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University, the former owner of "Upper Crust Catering", and

Sydney and her husband, Bruce, have six sons and one daughter, and thirteen grandchildren. This has given her plenty of opportunities to feed large crowds in her own kitchen!

Through many years of family cooking, catering, and serving in multiple capacities in her church, Sydney began to record the things she learned about organizing and preparing food. It was especially during her six years as a stake Young Women president that many food-related needs arose. Bruce has been a scoutmaster many times and works with the Young Men organization in the Church, which has given him good experiences with food responsibilities.

Sydney will be joined at this year's retreat by by Stina Cline, food presentation expert. Stina will show us how to make simple food look beautiful, thus, creating the illusion that you spent much more time and money on it than you really did! Cali Kellywood is the President of Utah Kids Club and the Association of Kids Clubs across the US and Canada. She started Utah Kids Club 4 years ago when she had her first baby, Davis. More than just looking for discounts, Cali wanted fun people to hang out with and fun things to do with her new addition...Going to the zoo by herself didn't seem so fun. After 3 months of working with different fun centers Cali had over 3,000 people join her club.  Then fun centers, athletic teams, recreation centers, theaters and museums all signed up to have Utah Kids Club families come to their place. Going into the 5th year, with 4 babies under 5, Cali and the Utah Kids Club have over 260 fun places to go and over 25,000 moms going! Getting out and about it what it's all about!
