Meet Our Speakers

Meet Boot Camp 2013's Speakers:

Jordan Page, Retreat Founder and Creator of Funcheaporfree.com

Jordan is the creator and CEO of FunCheapOrFree.com. She believes that frugality is an overall mindset, a balanced lifestyle, and way of living...NOT a list of strict tips and charts to try to memorize and live by.

She has always been frugal, but her skills were really put to the test when her and her husband went through some tight, even scary, financial times. She started her blog as a way to help others learn from her knowledge and expertise, and was quickly dubbed the "Fun Cheap or Free Queen." Millions of views later, she is able to share her easy frugal way of living philosophies with hundreds of thousands of people each month! Whether it's saving money in fashion & beauty, family activities, vacationing, DIY projects, food and cooking, home decor, financial planning and advice, or anything else fun, cheap, or free, Jordan's enthusiasm and energy will help change your way of living - the fun way - forever.

Brandt "Bubba" Page,
Founder and CEO of Launch Leads

Brandt Page (better known as Bubba) is a young entrepreneur with a bootstrapping mentality. He started www.launchleads.com in his living room in 2009 with nothing but a broken card table and a cell phone. He believes in doing more with less, focusing on quality of services, and consistent innovation throughout his company. In just a short amount of time Launch has become an award-winning company that continues to defy the laws of gravity.
However, more importantly than being a successful entrepreneur, Bubba is a devoted husband and father. Though he has no professional economic training background, he and his wife (Jordan Page) have been able to defy all odds and keep their family financially secure through all the unpredictable (or non-existent!) paychecks, ups-and-downs of being self-employed, and unthinkable economic times. Learn from Bubba as he teaches effective ways to divide family financial responsibilities, make, track, and keep budgets, how to find the balance between investing/spending and saving your hard-earned money, how to remain stable on an unstable income, and how husbands and wives can work together for the good of your family.

Nick Scott,
Fashion expert and Uptown Cheapskate Manager

With a European mother and Hawaiian father, you could say that Nick was born with a passion for variety in culture and fashion. Nick's passion for fashion came at an early age when his mother taught him to cross-stitch and sew at age 5. He quickly learned that with a little creativity and focus you can make, design, and create anything you want.
Even going to a High School with a strict uniform code couldn't squash his creativity. He would find ways to express his eye for fashion in creative, yet rule-abiding ways, inspiring trends throughout the entire school.
Nick got his first job in retail as a sophomore at Abercrombie and Fitch. He quickly worked his way up the company and by his Freshman year of college was transferred to New York to study photography, the ins-and-outs of buying new styles for the store, and the art of putting outfits together to create amazing looks. He returned to Utah years later and has since worked for Forever 21 and Express, where he learned about runway fashion, trending, and tailored, mature, fierce fashion.
Nick is now a manager at Uptown Cheapskate, being flown all over the country influencing stores, building the Uptown Cheapskate brand, and teaching the art of styling people on a budget. He is an expert stylist and is excited to teach us all how to find a fashion solution to ANY problem...all while paying next to nothing.
